Is a wyremail.co.uk email address really FREE?

Yes. We provide the email service free of charge, as it is good PR for us, and because we like to support Local causes each year or help benefit the local community in some way or fashion.

Can I use my email address on my Tablet or Smartphone?

Yes. You can setup your email account on any supported device. This includes, but isn’t limited to, iPhones, iPad, ios devices, Amazon Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, Android Smart-Phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 & Sony Xperia Z etc… Blackberry’s (If it supports email then it will almost definitely support the standards used for Wyremail.)

I’m with BT and I can’t send mail from any other provider such as AOL and Tiscali on my BT connection? Will yours work?

Yes. For service providers that block external SMTP traffic on port 25 we have created access on Port 26 which circumvents such measures.

Which email clients do you support?

We support all clients that support the IMAP, POP and SMTP protocols. We recommend Outlook, but are versed in Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Mac Mail, Thunderbird etc…

Do you provide webmail access?

No. At present we don’t offer this service, but we may do in the future if demand is high. In the meantime you can use free third party websites such as http://www.e-mailanywhere.com/ Please note we offer no support for the use of 3rd party tools to access your account.

Do i already need an email address in order to get a wyremail.co.uk address?

No. Unlike a lot of free email services, we don’t require you to use an existing email to register an email address to, thus allowing people with no current email address to get started without any commitment.

 Why should i get a wyremail.co.uk email address when I already have an email address provided by my ISP?

  3. It has the latest Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus filtering. If offered by your ISP, it is usually a considerable extra monthly service charge
